Privacy Policy
How TSR Pusoy handles your preferences, your online games, and the ads that keep it free.
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how TSR Apps LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the TSR Pusoy mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
App preferences. The App stores your display name, chosen avatar, table theme, sound, haptics and house-rule settings locally on your device. It also stores your game statistics and achievements (for example, hands played, wins and streaks). This information stays on your device unless you host or join an online game (see below), and it is removed automatically if you uninstall the App.
Online multiplayer. If you choose to host or join an online game, the App uses Firebase (a Google service) to synchronize game state between players in your room. To do this, the App signs you in anonymously — no email, password, or personal account is created or required. The information used to run a room consists of: the room code; the display name you chose; an anonymous identifier that Firebase assigns to your installation and keeps on your device; your seat, your confirmed card arrangement and the round results; and your connection status (whether you are currently online and when you were last seen), which the App sends to Firebase so other players can see if you have disconnected. Firebase may also process technical data such as your IP address as part of providing its service. Other players in the same room can see your display name, connection status and, once everyone reveals at the end of a round, your arrangement; your cards and arrangement are never visible to anyone else beforehand. Room data is stored in our Firebase project while the room is in use and may remain stored after the game ends; it is not linked to your real-world identity unless you put it in your display name. To let you return to a game you left, the App also remembers the room code and your seat on your device. This data is governed by Google’s own privacy practices:
Quick Chat. In an online game you can send short preset phrases or emoji (for example “Good game!”) to the other players in your room. You cannot type free text. A message is stored with the room as the phrase you picked and your seat number, and is visible to the players in that room.
Advertising data. The App displays ads served through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, and other technical information as described in Google’s own privacy policy. The App requests non-personalized ads. This data collection is performed by Google, not by us directly, and is governed by Google’s privacy practices:
Purchases. The App offers an optional one-time “Remove Ads” purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment information — that data is handled solely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above solely to operate the App’s core features: saving your preferences, synchronizing online games between players, displaying ads, and processing optional purchases. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your preferences or online gameplay data for any purpose beyond making the App work.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy and terms:
- Google Firebase — online multiplayer (authentication, game state sync, presence, Quick Chat)
- Google AdMob — ad serving
- Apple App Store / Google Play — purchase processing
We do not control how these third parties handle data and encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.
Your Choices
- You can change or clear your display name at any time in the App’s Settings.
- You can mute Quick Chat in an online game from the chat window.
- You can limit ad personalization through your device’s advertising settings (for example, “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android, or “Limit Ad Tracking” / App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
- You can purchase “Remove Ads” within the App to stop ads from being shown entirely.
- You can uninstall the App at any time, which removes all locally stored preferences, statistics and saved games from your device. The App does not create an account; online play uses an anonymous identifier that is not tied to your name or email address.
- You can forget a game you left by tapping the “×” button next to “Continue online game” on the home screen, which removes the saved room code from your device.
- You can ask us to delete online room data associated with a room code you used (see “Your Rights and Requests” below).
Your Rights and Requests
Depending on where you live (for example California, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to certain processing. Because the App does not collect your name, email address or other account details, we may need a room code, the display name you used and the approximate date to find online room data that relates to you. To make a request, email us at the address below; we will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Security
Online game data is transmitted and stored via Firebase’s infrastructure, secured according to Google’s own practices, and access to any single seat’s private hand is restricted to that seat alone until the round is revealed. Data handled by other third-party services (AdMob, Apple, Google Play) is secured according to their respective practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or in applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date above. Your continued use of the App after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
